As I promised here some other pictures from designers at the London Fashionweek that inspired me a lot! :) Now with a more personal view and personal comments!
Holly Fulton is making a name for herself in London with big bold prints and larger than life plastic jewelery. Having already won the Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Accessories at the British Fashion Awards 2009.
Her SS11 collection stayed true to the designers roots. Art deco inspired graphic prints were reinterpreted into several key summer trends futuristic, 70s and tribal (you can't have a summer without some form of tribal trend). It's incredible how Fulton can transform her signature art deco prints to tap into the new trends it demonstrates great versatility.

All her showpieces are set to make her one to watch. I like like like it! :)

My favorite new designer at London Fashion week would have to be Masha Ma,
a Central Saint Martins graduate. (a first for the emerging designer)
Her collection ‘Ice Breaker’ had a palette of strong colours including, white, silver, arctic blue and touches of gold. Light, breezy and flowing, the SS11 collection is getting us all ready for what next summer may bring! :)

Also I was very inspired by Simone Rochas' collection.
The simple whites, the popping pinks, the fallen-off hems and sheerest layering. Boxily structured tux jackets balanced out knee-skimming shorts and perfectly deconstructed shirts were crowned with aluminium collars. Next season's penchant for Perspex was evidenced in her awesome box clutches, and there was a nod to bohemia in tumbling tulle ruffles. Loved the textures, loved the buttoned-up undone-ness of it.
All we need now is for summer to get a move on…;)
